Two Nigerian exchanges, Bitfxt and NaijaCrypto have been added to the exchange section of CoinMarketCap, the biggest cryptocurrency data aggregator platform.

CoinMarketCap is one of the most popular data providers in the cryptocurrency industry. The platform has been trusted for years to provide accurate information on cryptocurrencies and related products like exchanges.

Following the boom of innovation in the space, CoinMarketCap.com has put in place strict measures to approve projects before adding them to the site. These measures have made the platform a good resource to find legitimate projects.

Until last month, no Nigerian cryptocurrency project had been listed on coinmarketcap.com. Bitfxt‘s utility token became the first Nigerian based cryptocurrency to be listed on coinmarketcap.com.

Subsequently, coinmarketcap.com has added Bitfxt’s exchange platform and the NaijaCrypto exchange. Both Nigerian exchanges are relatively new and are the first to achieve this milestone.

NaijaCrypto launched in March 2019. The 8 months old exchange has launched several offerings for the Nigerian cryptocurrency ecosystem including an IEO Launchpad.
